10.18.11, Harry Wirth's recent watercolor painting. "Awakening" was selected by a jury to be included in the upcoming exhibition, 'Watercolor Wisconsin' at the Wustum Museum of Art in Racine, WI. Opening Sunday, Dec. 11 at 2pm. Museum Hours Tue-Sat 10-5pm.

11.15.10, Harry Wirth was awarded a 1 year Sabbatical Leave from Northern Illinois University beginning the Fall of 2011. He will use the time to study painting and create a new body of work to be exhibited sometime in 2012.

Museum.10.9.10, Harry Wirth will conduct an art workshop on Color Theory for the Racine Art Guild on October 14, 2010. The Wustum Museum of Art part of the Racine Art Museum.

7.1.10, Harry Wirth, will be conducting a Track day Seminar on July 15 at Ducati Milwaukee. Those newcomers to the sport will learn about riding skills and track days.

2.23.10, Harry Wirth, recently designed a portable patient privacy screen for doctors of LAMP, the Latin American Medical Providers. Six of the units were built this month on site in Guatemala using plans and details provided by Prof. Wirth. The units had to be able to provide visual privacy for a hospital 'bed' in the field. It also had to be able to be taken apart in component parts and transported in duffle bags.

The 2010 LAMP Mission to Jalapa, Guatemala was a great success. Over 2400 patients were seen, at least 90 surgical procedures, over 7000 prescriptions and hundreds of ultrasounds and lab tests performed.

11.22.08, Harry Wirth was retained by the McGraw-Hill Book Co. in New York to review a new manuscript for a college book on Art and Design.

11.8.08, Harry Wirth will be featured in the documentary film, Man and His Erections. This documentary integrates two parts, the interviews and narrative, woven and reflected off one another, using the metaphor of modern architecture to lead us to a meaningful conclusion of our existence.
