Wirth/Sawicki Residence near Salem, Wisconsin completed in 1993. A three story 700 square foot structure surrounded by an oak savannah and native prairie grasses. This house is solar heated and oriented to take advantage of distant views of the rural countryside. Finished in weathered cedar siding and raw concrete block.

In 2008 remodeling was started to the exterior. The cedar siding is being stripped and recycled. Cement panels of four colors are replacing the siding along with other improvements.
